is an international environmental organisation which is committed
to conserving the diversity and integrity of life on earth to meet
the needs of current and future generations.
Earthwatch engages people worldwide in scientific field research
and education to promote the understanding and action necessary
for a sustainable environment. Through our programmes and partnerships
we:
- Engage people from diverse countries, cultures and organisations,
inspiring them to take responsibility for the environment.
- Support objective scientific research which informs decisions
on important environmental issues.
- Educate and motivate people to change their attitudes and
behaviour
