The Tropical Biology Association is a non-governmental organisation
established in 1992. Its objectives are to:
- Provide field training in current concepts and techniques in
biodiversity research and conservation for African and European
biologists.
- Stimulate exchange and forge collaborative links between conservation
biologists and their institutions in Africa and Europe.
- Build the capacity of host country institutions so that they
can carry out their own training and research programmes.
The Tropical Biology Association aims to develop expertise in
biodiversity conservation and research in the tropics and strengthen
cooperation between institutions and individuals working in this
area. To find out more about TBA, visit www.tropical-biology.org
