| The
Assurance Group currently comprises senior independent international
professionals working in fields related to biodiversity conservation
and business management. Members have experience of working in
a different part of the world.
The Assurance Group works through independent advice and peer
review. It is charged with ensuring the Partnership maintains a
high level of integrity, independence and accountability and advises
the Management Team through:
- Evaluation of the programme of activities against the requirements
set out in the MoU, identify potential risks to the attainment
of those requirements and potential gaps in the programme of
activities
- Assessment of the extent to which the programme of activities
(which should implement the MoU) are being implemented and the
outcomes achieved
- Review the alignment of the MT activities against the MoU
- Represent the partnership to external and internal stakeholders
as required
